Cycrin is a contraceptive composed of a female progesterone hormone prescribed to prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation. Cycrin causes the cervical mucous to thicken causing the sperm to have a hard time moving towards the uterus. Cycrin causes the shedding of the endometrium thereby causing menstruation.
Cycrin is a contraceptive to prevent pregnancy. It can be prescribed for females who would not want to get pregnant for a given time.
Cycrin (the injectable kind) is prescribed to treat inoperable, recurrent, and metastatic endometrial and/or renal carcinoma.
Cycrin can help treating symptoms of certain types of cancer.
Cycrin may be prescribed for other purposes aside from the ones mentioned above.
Cycrin is not to be taken by pregnant women as Cycrin has been known to cause birth defects to the unborn baby. Cycrin can cause hormonal changes and when taken during pregnancy may cause serious negative effects on the development of the unborn. Cycrin Administration Guidelines

When Cycrin is prescribed to prevent pregnancy, it should be administered at 3-month intervals to ensure total protection against pregnancy.
